Tell yourself “I am going into trance for (blank) minutes for the purpose of feeling (blank). And when I come out of trance, I will feel alert, aware, and ready to (blank).” Close your eyes and relax them to the point where they just won’t work. And when you’re sure they won’t work, test them and make sure they won’t work. Now let that feeling go right down to your toes. With each of your next 5 breaths, just double your relaxation with each exhale so that you are completely relaxed. Now, begin counting backward from 100 in your mind, and with each number, double your relaxation until you relax the numbers right out of your mind. (If visual, you can imagine erasing them and not being able to see any more numbers) (If auditory, you imagine hearing them and then going silent or to static so you can’t hear them anymore) (If kinesthetic, relax them away until you can’t find them anymore, let them fall away) (If auditory digital, you can lock all the numbers in a room or filling cabinet you can’t access temporarily / for the moment) Then just let your subconscious take the wheel and you will come out of trance feeling great when the time is right!
